Day 3: 149.6 lbs
Total Lost: 1.4 lbs
As you can see, I'm up almost a pound from yesterday. Which is okay because I was loading. But now we are down to 500 calorie diets a day! I woke up this morning feeling sick, but that was from the alcohol. Once I got to work, I felt fine. I'm currently snacking on an apple. On Friday mornings, we have a staff meeting and breakfast is provided. Oh boy, the aroma of the bacon made my mouth water so bad! I wish we could ban bacon until this diet is over. It's my number one temptation. They did provide apples and grapefruits for us HCGers, which I'm snacking on mine right now. I just do not feel hungry!! (Although if I could have bacon, my hunger would be back in full force!) Goodness, you can tell I'm a bacon freak, huh? My dome (which is where my desk is located) is home of the cafe also, so the aroma is still hitting me full force. Like I said, if I'm gonna have to deal with this every week, I'm bound to give in! Ooooo I just remembered I need to be drinking water! Better go get on that!

For lunch today, I had grilled chicken which I seasoned in garlic, paprika, and rosemary. I also had my piece of Melba toast and half a cucumber. The book says you're allowed to eat 2 cups of cucumber which is hard to measure, so I guessed at it and just ate half. I have those really long cucumbers you buy at Sam's. They are so good! I then took my vitamins. I'm still pretty hungry, but I don't want to use up my items for dinner tonight. The hunger should go away though. I'm chugging down water so hopefully that'll help!

Around 4:00 I got super hungry. All I could think about was food, like what I'd eat right then if I wasn't doing this diet. I've started questioning if I could really do this. It seems like such torture right now. We have so much junk food in the house right now, and it's all so tempting! It's amazing how after just one day of limiting your food intake you start to go crazy with all the cravings. Anything and everything sounds good right now!
For dinner, I made shrimp and asparagus with garlic, paprika, and salt on the George Foreman grill. I've never cared much for asparagus, and still feel the same way. I just ate it to eat it. No enjoyment in it whatsoever. The shrimp was good though. After weighing it out, it came out to 6 jumbo shrimp. I was so tempted to eat the tails!! I cheated and had 2 Melba toast instead of one. I know, wooooo one extra Melba toast, I'm so bad, but still, I'm really trying to stick to this diet strictly! I just ate an orange, and better hop in bed before the hunger starts. I hope tomorrow is better. I can't wait to eat the chicken. I wish I could just have chicken with every meal! It's definitely the easiest to make!
