Today was a lot easier than yesterday! I didn't cheat once! I had shrimp, cabbage, an orange and Melba toast for lunch. I went shopping all day so I didn't think much about food, except when we were at the grocery store. Mmmm all the cravings, but it was easier to resist since we had to buy the food in order to eat it. We bought some steaks and more fresh fruits and vegetables, and even one serving of flounder. I'm not into fish, so my husband will probably eat that. We also bought some amino acids to cook with and some liquid vanilla creme Stevia for our coffee.

I cooked steak for dinner tonight, and oh my word was it delicious! I used the amino acids which is like soy sauce, and also used beef broth and simmered it in a skillet with various seasonings. I cooked asparagus with the steaks for my husband's vegetable. I went simple and had cucumber. I have yet to eat my fruit for the night, and am surprisingly not all that hungry! While cooking the steak, I grilled 4 pieces of chicken on the George Foreman grill and made 3 extra steaks with our 2. So we almost have enough food for the rest of the week for lunch, if we don't eat any of that for dinner. I like grilling or sauteing shrimp for dinner. Well, I better go make my son's food. He just started solids, and I am making that fresh, not from jars. So yay, lots of extra work for me! But it's worth it. I'm just glad I still have the energy!
